Crafted Up was built on one thing: doing the work properly. The journey began at 17 with an interior plastering apprenticeship, learning the trade the traditional way.

After completing the apprenticeship and working across many commercial projects in Canada working with volume builders, high-output production environments where efficiency and accuracy aren't optional, the next chapter took things across to New Zealand's construction industry for 10 years.

Now based in Perth, WA, Crafted Up works exclusively with commercial builders, and fitout contractors across the metro area. Focused, reliable commercial interior systems work, the way it should be done.

From Drawings

Layout is crafted straight up. We don't guess dimensions, we don't phone you for basic questions, and we don't guess. First fix is accurate.

We Show Up

On the day we said we would. If something changes, you hear about it from us... Ahead of time, not by waiting to see if anyone turns up on site. Communication is basic. We still do it.

Quotes That Make Sense

Clear, itemised, and based on what's actually in the scope. No vague lump sums, no surprise variations for things that were always on the drawings. What you get is what we quoted.

Commercial Only

We don't take domestic work. That's a choice, not a limitation. It means our focus is entirely on the timelines, tolerances, and standards that commercial construction demands.

Proper Safety, Every Site

Site-specific SWMS provided. Current public liability insurance. We meet induction requirements and work to Australian Standards, every job, every site.

The Finish Matters

After 30 years in this trade, cutting corners on the finish isn't something we do. The person who walks through the building at handover is who we're working for too.

Credentials

Qualified. Compliant. Insured.

Thirty years of trade experience backed up by formal qualifications and current compliance. We meet what commercial sites require, we keep the paperwork sorted so you don't have to chase it.

Journeyman

International Qualification in Interior Systems Mechanic, formally qualified in all aspects steel, lining and setting.

White Card

Construction Induction Training card held by all employes — valid for all Australian commercial construction sites.

Public Liability Insurance

Current public liability cover in place. Certificate of currency available on request for any project or site requirement.

SWMS for every project

Site-specific Safe Work Method Statements prepared for any high-risk work. Ready before we start, not after you ask.

Apprentice-trained, with decades of commercial experience across three countries. Not theory, actual time on the tools.

Australian Standards Compliant

All work installed to AS/NZS 2589 plasterboard standard and relevant BCA / NCC requirements for fire, acoustic, and structural systems.
