Project Scope
In 2024, we were engaged by Huadu International for this exceptional project, where our responsibilities included framing with steel studs, attaching steel battens to tilt panels, and installing both concealed and exposed suspended ceilings, along with flush plasterboard linings.
Constructed on a 405 sqm site, the building makes a strong architectural statement and was shortlisted in the New Zealand Institute of Architects 2024 Canterbury Architecture Awards. The striking exterior features exposed steel beams and gold mesh screens, while inside the building has a premium feel with several bespoke finishes in the common areas and lift lobbies.
Project Objectives
- Frame with steel studs and attach steel battens to tilt panels

- Deliver premium finishes for lift lobbies and shared spaces
